I noticed some of the loot we handed out in 2023 did not match with our 2024 updated versions.
To correct the issue with staff appreciation tokens, I created a vendor stone outside of Luna bank.
You will notice that the newer versions are a bit more authentic, in that they stack and have a reassuring comment attached to them.
Futuristically, staff will be creating a Vendor stone for the staff appreciation tokens, using the newer versions.

- Custom Fall Town & Dungeon: Now open for exploring, questing, thieving, and farming. The perfect spot to get into the autumn spirit and maybe find some hidden treasures!
- Boosted Crypts in Tram and Fel: These crypts are crawling with monsters and player corpses, offering a challenge and a chance for some thrilling loot.
- Trick or Treat with NPCs: Collect candy and rare items by trick-or-treating with NPCs scattered throughout the land. Who knows what spooky surprises they might have for you?
- More Custom Fall Content Coming Soon: Keep an eye out for even more autumn-themed adventures and rewards!
But wait, there's more! I've crafted a special rearming trap chest to help you build up your disarm skill, essential for those late-game encounters. You'll find one in the new player starting area—but beware, its location might change in the future to keep things interesting!

I am excited to announce one of many Fall events coming to Strange Earth this year!
A new champion has been sighted in the Fall dungeon's lowest levels! Be warned this is not for the faint of heart, but should you defeat this new champion you will be rewarded. The following drops will be available from the champion:
- Fall Tokens (Random Amount) - 100%
- Carvable Pumpkin - 25%
- Pumpkin Carving Kit - 25%
- Lantern of Lamentation (Shield Slot, min/max properties shown) - 15%
*Note, this champion does not drop powerscrolls as it is not Fel based, but does shower you with gold!
¶ Patch release notes 9/1/24
Greetings Strange-Earth Adventurers, With the seasons changing, so does our in-game content! As we transition into fall, beware of the eerie atmosphere across the shard. If you die anywhere on Strange-Earth UO (UOSE), your corpse now has a chance to be resurrected in a random graveyard. Track down and slay your resurrected corpse for a chance at random rewards! Additionally, the Fall area in Malas is now open. This region leads to mines, a town, and a dungeon. Be sure to explore the area as new secrets may await you. The Fall voting area is still under construction, but I expect to publish it within the next day, so stay tuned! Regarding the ClassicUO client, recent restructuring has caused some in-game display issues. Until a stable version is released, I recommend rolling back to version 1.0.0.0. To do so, select client backups and apply this version, but remember to close all Ultima Online clients on your computer before proceeding. (See screenshot) Other Updates:
- Umbra Mint has been added to the Crystal Portal.
- Bonus Harvest Resources now have colorful call-outs in your journal and on screen.
- Fixed a bug with long-term pet bonding (7 days).
- Fixed a bug with the Transmog Potion.
- Seared Fire Ant Goo, Hydra Scale, Boura Skin, and Concentrated Sap can now be stacked.
- Concentrated Sap can also be stored in the wood key and placed into a commodity deed.
- Raised the drop rate for Rare Serpent Eggs.
- Fixed the display name bug on Commodity Deeds.-Corrected typos in descriptions for Perfect Amethyst Gem, Perfect Diamond Gem, Flawed Diamond Gem, and Powerscroll Pickers.
- Resolved the Omni World Portal pet teleporting bug.

Hail inhabitants of Strange-Earth! I am excited to announce the release of the Deep Dungeon Summer Event. A gate in Luna has been provided to the Deep Dungeon where the following are available:
- Soulbound Swashbucklers now spawn with a small % chance to drop event tokens.
- Sunken Treasure Chests now spawn hourly with many goodies inside including event tokens, flawed gems, mythic crafting ingredients, and a rare seasonal decoration. Every chest will hold something different. Bring your lockpicks!
- The Winch for the "Exploring the Deep" quest has been fixed allowing you to fight the 3 bosses that spawn. More info on that quest here: https://www.uoguide.com/Exploring_the_Deep

This summer, we're thrilled to announce a host of updates designed to keep your adventures fresh and challenging. Below are some highlights.
New Mini Champ Fights:
- Our dedicated staff member, decaf, has been hard at work creating custom mini champs. His latest challenge will push your skills to the next level. decaf has introduced a custom High Seas mini champ located in the bay of Fire Island. Here you will have to face giant red lobsters, sea snakes, giant sea lice, armored crustaceans, Diabolical Seaweed, and the Depthlord himself, Nepturion.
New Summer Quests:
- Head over to our seasonal vote reward display area to meet two new quest givers: Grill Master Salty Pete and Omar the Wise Scribe. Salty Pete’s Quest is intended to be easy as he needs you to clean up the nearby beaches. Omar’s quest is geared towards more seasoned players as he’s going to ask you to go out and slay four Desert Marauders, each equipped with unique abilities and desert allies. Stay tuned for three more custom quests coming soon to keep the summer festivities rolling!
New Summer Vote Rewards:
- Our summer vote reward display hub is now live! This hub will help players explore the new rewards easily or you can check out our pre-recorded information video for more details.
Fishing tournaments have arrived!
Visit the Tournament Master at the Sea Market and participate in tournaments three times a week:
- Monday: 4 PM
- Wednesday: 1 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM (MST)
Be among the first three fishermen to turn in the requested fish to receive a special reward.
High Seas combat:
- We’ve enhanced the High Seas Merchant and Pirate Ship to carry varying rarities of loot (including summer tokens). Beware of the pirates—they've been trained in the art of cannon warfare and will fiercely guard their treasures.

Apologies for the delay as my team and I are currently backlogged with requests & real life events. We encourage everyone to continue using the suggestions channel for feedback. This channel helps us organize and prioritize your needs while allowing us to maintain our backend projects efficiently. Thank you for your feedback and patience.
Recent Shard Changes,
- Taming Adjustments: Previously, animals that were damaged would not allow you to continue taming them, displaying the message "The animal is too angry to continue taming." This restriction has been removed to create a more balanced taming experience.
- Void Creature Loot Drops: The loot drops for void creatures found roaming TerMur have been updated to match public wikis, including drop ratios.
- PowerScroll Key Fix: A bug in the PowerScroll key that prevented stat scrolls from being extracted has been fixed.
- New Fishing Tournament: A new fishing tournament has been published, featuring +3 fish. More details will be provided soon.
- Tamer's Little Helper Bug: The issue with despawning creatures when using the Tamer's Little Helper has been fixed.
- Taming BoD Rewards prices related to PowerScrolls have been lowered
- Uber Doom Boss Room Keys: For a limited time, keys to the Uber Doom Boss room will not expire. You can collect, hoard, sell, or trade these keys to your heart's content. Note that this is a temporary change, and the expiration timer will be turned back on for newly spawned keys in the future.
- Rune Beetles Update: Rune Beetles are now rideable and starts off at 2 pet slots instead of 3.
- Shard auto backup has been changed from 15 min to 1 hr intervals
- HS Pirates and Merchant Ships: The drop rates for Power Charges have been increased from 7 to 12, and Fuse Cords from 7 to 14 on HS pirates and merchant ships.
- We have reworked the Clean Up Britannia reward system. Numerous reward item prices have been adjusted to create a more balanced and enjoyable experience for everyone.

¶ Patch release notes 6/1/24
Greetings Adventurers,
We are thrilled to bring you the latest update, packed with new content and exciting changes to enhance your gameplay experience.
I spent several days & nights (13,155 newlines of code) working on new creations. These creations range from Paintings (92), Containers (200), and Miscellaneous Deco (125) for a total of 417 brand new items. These all include brand new artwork to go with them (which are flippable). Stay tuned in for more announcements as these slowly become available through adventurous means.
Void Creatures located in TerMur previously had missing loot tables. These have since then been updated to include highly sought after items such as void orbs, essences and even the rare void cores. These loot tables have been mimicked off the information from UOGuide
Highseas Pirate and Merchant ships have had their loot increased once again. This change aims to entice our brave adventurers to venture out and hunt these elusive targets for greater rewards!
We've made significant adjustments to animal taming! Creatures that have been damaged can now still be tamed. Previously, any damage to a creature would result in the following failure message: "The animal is too angry to continue taming." This change will allow tamers to tame creatures even if they have taken some damage.
There has also been a new community out reach from our friends over at World Gaming Organization. They are a club of like mind gamers who stive to foster a positive and safe gaming environment. They are also always looking to party up in any game in addition to Strange-Earth. Be sure to check them out when you get the chance WGO Discord & WGO Youtube.

Behold, some amazing shard updates to help enhance your every day game play 🧙♂️. I personally worked days on making some of these changes come to life 🪄 .
System Maintenance,
- The shard will now undergo automatic weekly restarts every Friday at 11:55 PM MST for routine maintenance and optimization purposes. This ensures a smoother gameplay experience and resolves any lingering issues.
- Small Dragon boat facing west previously was missing some images that belonged to the boat. This has now been corrected.
Gameplay Balancing,
- Pirate Ships cannon damage has been tactically reduced by 20% to promote more strategic engagements on the high seas. Players can now navigate encounters with these formidable adversaries with greater confidence.
- Pirate Ships and merchant vessels have enhanced their treasure hoards by adding an additional chest on their top deck. These chests come in various rarities, promising adventurers greater rewards for their daring exploits.
Quality of Life Improvements,
- The Strange-Earth Skill Stone has been upgraded to offer adventurers more save slots, empowering players to diversify their skill sets and experiment with different playstyles. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and customization options for character development.

Hello, adventurers! Get ready to dive into a world of excitement with our latest patch release. We've packed this update with goodies that'll have you exploring, battling, and building like never before. Check out what's in store:
- 🏠 We're slashing prices on custom award-winning houses! Now you can snag your dream home for a fraction of the cost. Say goodbye to sky-high price tags and hello to affordable luxury living! Previous rates were in the 10’s of millions, now they are just in the millions.
- ⚔️ Watch out, GMs now have the power to grant special weapon attacks to monsters, adding an extra layer of challenge and thrill to your encounters.
- 📚 More advanced web stones for wiki references has been built on the back end. Staff will need time to deploy these. Ideally this will make dive deeper into the lore and strategies of your favorite quests and monsters all the easier.
- 🎁 6-Month account milestone received a brand-new reward gump!
- 🔮 We've given the mythic token a major upgrade with enhanced logic checks, making it a breeze to use. We also raised the cut off limits from 200 to 600.
- 🐂 We've dialed back the drop rate of PrizedBulls from 100% to a more balanced 10%. Get ready to work for those coveted rewards!
- 🏰 We've spotted a missing sprite on house ladders, but fear not! A quick client patch will have you climbing to new heights in no time.
- 🌐Updates to the Wiki and main UOSE page mean easier access to connection info. Navigate the realms with ease and embark on your next adventure without a hitch!
- 🐛Small Dragon boat has a sprite bug anytime the boat is pointing west ward. Staff is working on a fix which should be included in the next patch.

¶ Patch release notes 4/29/24
I was able to sneak some updates out to the shard this morning. Below is a brief rundown. Enhancements,
- Player Corps Decay Timer: Adjusted the decay timer for player corpses from 14 minutes to 20 minutes, providing players with a more reasonable window to retrieve their belongings.
- Item Decay Rate: Increased the decay rate of items thrown on the ground from 1 hour to 2 hours, allowing players more time to recover dropped items.
- "All Follow Me" Pet Command: Improved the responsiveness of the "All follow me" pet command, enabling pets to follow players more quickly, even while riding mounts.
- Interior Decorator now has the ability to move placed decorative items, enhancing the customization options for players' homes.
- Powerscroll Reward Picker which some players have received from staff events has been adjusted from offering a PS for every skill possible to only the skills that support PS.
Bug Fixes,
- Saber-toothed Tigers, Corrected an issue where Saber-toothed Tigers were spawning with 0 skill points in healing, making it challenging for players to train them effectively.
- TamersLittleHelper Adjustments: Limited the number of tamable creatures that can be summoned by the TamersLittleHelper to a total of 7. Additionally, summoned creatures will no longer despawn when standing within 1 tile of the helper. They will now only despawn if successfully tamed, after 2 minutes, or if players move away from the helper.
- Treasure Map Decoder contained a bug where the treasure map decoder would cause a shard crash when targeting a player. This issue has been resolved, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience for all players.

Please welcome ZeroCool and SigDude, who will be joining our scripting team to assist with bug hunting, code enhancement, and overall backend improvements. Additionally, we have Decaf on board, who will be spearheading our Public Relations efforts and serving as our dedicated Event Coordinator.
While we prepare for a formal welcome ceremony, you may already encounter ZeroCool, Decaf, and SigDude actively contributing to Strange-Earth. Their dedication and expertise promise exciting developments ahead. I am personally ecstatic about their addition to the team and look forward to achieving great heights together.

We're thrilled to have you join us for this latest round of improvements and tweaks! While this update might be a tad smaller in size, it's packed with goodies that we think you'll love.
- Our shard's time has been dialed back to Mountain Standard Time (MST) from UTC. Curious? Type [timestamp to see our real-time clock in action!
- We've bid farewell to the Age system. It was collecting dust and not getting the love it deserved. So, say goodbye with us! 👋
- Sneaky deco updates have been happening behind the scenes in anticipation of Memorial Day. Stay tuned for some festive surprises!
- Our incredible support staff now have even more GM commands at their fingertips. They're the real heroes behind the curtain, and we're giving them the tools they need to keep things running smoothly.
- The classic Invasion System has been included but is not ready for the mass (Staff and I want to put more work into it so its more Strange).
- Grubbers, grubbers everywhere! We've upped the ante on IDOC events by unleashing a flood of these little critters. It's like a treasure hunt, but with more chaos!
- Blackthorn's dungeon had some crazy features linked to it that are not well known or documented: going afk 2min here causes players to become unhidden, dealt deadly poison, and teleported to a random jail cell filled with monsters. This concept has been captured so that one day it might be reused for an UBER dungeon.
- Going forward Blackthorn's afk dungeon features have been dialed back. Going afk for 15 minutes will trigger a system message, some special effects around your adventure followed by being whisked away to safety.

With over 88 pages updated in some manner, the new wiki now features more accurate information, intuitive navigation, and an abundance of images to enhance your browsing experience. Whether you're researching custom content, exploring game mechanics, or seeking tips and strategies, our wiki is your go-to lifeline for all things Strange-earth.
We highly recommend bookmarking the wiki for easy access whenever you need to delve into the depths of our custom content. As our community continues to grow, so too will our wiki, serving as an invaluable repository of knowledge for both newcomers and seasoned veterans alike.

Lots of updates went live this morning. Here is a brief recap on some of them 🧙♂️ .
- IDOC & StorageKey have now been expanded upon to offer more QoL entries - Compliments of Blick
- Arrowless Chicken Training Bow is now live and can be retrieved from the newbie training area - Compliments of Pyslus
- A mini egg hunt of sorts has been activated called the "White Rabbit". To get started, just say the words "White Rabbit" next to an NPC
- Black Market Rewards now includes Hooks Shield
- Small imbuing jewelry bug has now been addressed
Update on our wiki. Some of you might have noticed there are lots of missing images. We found backups of them but instead of just pasting them back, we are going through and overhauling the wiki. Its currently in a draft format but stay tuned in as this new revision is going to be even more user friendly and informative.

Happy Valentines everybody!
Immerse yourself in role-playing as you journey through Ilshenar, where the fey creatures are guarding items of love. Will you be the hero who saves Valentine's Day, or will you succumb to the darkness and bring about its demise?
This is our first valentines draft. Be gentle and let us know through the suggestions channel if any adjustments are needed.
These two fetch quest will challenge you in combat, knowledge on locations, and time management? Both Quest givers will send you out to retrieve 5 items each ANNND each item (pause for dramatic effect) has a 3 hour timer hidden on them. After the 3 hour timer is up, the quest item will be summoned back to the Fey🏃♂️ 💨 .

Greetings Noble warriors and fair maidens of our realm!
It is with great pleasure and boundless excitement that I, bring forth tidings of a monumental update that has graced our lands.
In the mystical depths of the void, a sinister plague hath stirred, unleashing upon our world creatures of unparalleled darkness and dread. Beware, brave souls, for the lands of Ter Mur now teem with perilous foes (Void Creatures) whose wrath strikes fear into the hearts of even the most valiant of heroes. Venture forth with caution, for the challenges that await thee are as fierce as they are formidable.
- But lo, the wonders do not end there!
- Arcane focus hath been unshackled! All spellweavers now reach level 5 focus, with level 6 soon to come in dungeons.
- Crafting key inventories have been enhanced, ensuring bountiful treasures for chefs, fishermen, hunters, gatherers, and weavers.
- Crafting artifacts now boast a sturdy 255 starting durability.
- RunicReforge bug hath been vanquished and it is now safe to return to using this craft 🧙♂️
- Large Taming Bods have been adjusted to pay out more than their counter parts + a small bonus.
- Taimer's little helper & his pets no longer despawn after a fraction of a second 😶🌫️

¶ Patch release notes 02/07/24
Hear Ye, Brave Adventurers! I bring forth some small updates to enrich your medieval odyssey.
- Raptor teeth drop rates have been increased
- Magical Thread of Barding will no longer roll the camping skill
- Master of Arts has been relocated to the northern portions of the lost lands. Drop rates for some of the masters jewelry has also been increased.
- Imbuekey(Artificers Key) has been expanded to now hold Seed of Renewal, Elven Fletching, Ecru Cristine, Perfect Emerald, Dark Sapphire, and Fey Wings
- Weapon decay rates have been decreased to allow for longer runs without having to worry about repairs.

As the custodian of this realm, I'm excited to offer you a sneak peek into some of the projects my team and I have been diligently crafting behind the scenes.
Firstly, you may have noticed the temporary closure of the donation hall in recent days. Fear not, for this hiatus is but a precursor to an exciting transformation! We're currently in the midst of an extensive overhaul, scheduled to unveil its splendor on Feb 5th, just a mere 10 days from now. Brace yourselves for a reimagined space that encapsulates all four seasons, enhanced player account options, and an overall aesthetic facelift that promises to make it not just functional, but a joy to explore.
But wait, there's more! We're also cooking up something special for our new players. While I can't divulge all the details just yet, rest assured that as we inch closer to the big reveal, you'll be the first to know.

Apologies, due to unforeseen circumstances and family obligations, our unveiling of our new donation hall has been rescheduled for the 12th.
¶ Patch release notes 01/20/24
Strange-Earth Adventurers, We are thrilled to announce a plethora of changes aimed at enhancing your gameplay experience and bringing a wave of excitement to your time in our realms. Client side patching will be needed once the donation hall has been reopened. Here's a breakdown of the latest updates:
- Saltpeter market has seen a significant shift as the value of Saltpeter has gracefully dropped from 167 to 59 gold pieces each.
- Sea Market Travel: Restrictions on recalling out have been lifted and a public gate has been added to help those that are stranded get out.
- Tamer's Little Helper Bug Fix: Recently there was a problem with the taming bears stage. This has now been fixed.
- Boss hunters, rejoice! The drop chance for Peerless Essence has skyrocketed from 5% to a whopping 25%. Don't miss the chance to loot this precious essence during your conquests.
- Weapons, armor, jewelry, and talisman durability loss rates have been fine-tuned, reducing the chance from 25% to a mere 10%. Splintering weapons have also received a significant adjustment, now losing only 1 point per swing instead of 10.
- Cartography Star Chart creations now cover skill gains between 90% and 100%.
- The Donation Hall is undergoing a fabulous makeover, and we're delighted to offer additional housing opportunities. Extra House Deeds & Age-Defying House Deeds.
- Deco Deeds in the Donation Hall are now color-coded, providing a visual cue for the variety of options available.
- Yellow = Five different directions
- Blue = Four different directions
- Green = Three different directions
- Grey = Two different directions

Hark, Noble Adventurers!
As the winter winds wane, so does our cherished seasonal event "The 12 Dungeons of Christmas". Starting tomorrow 1/7/24 the corresponding quest objectives shall cease to manifest, yet fear not, for the NPC quest givers and exchange reward stone shall linger in our realm for an additional fortnight 1/14/24. This will give you plenty of time to turn in remaining quest items or spend any remaining Christmas Spirit Currency.
