¶ What is IDOC?
IDOC stands for "In Danger of Collapse!" and it refers to an event that occurs when an adventures house is marked for deletion. In order for a house to receive this mark, the house must remain inactive for a total of 6 months. To find the condition of any house, simply click on the house sign one time and it will reflect a series of different conditions.
Condition breakdown,
- Like New is 1 months of inactivity
- Slightly worn is 2 months of inactivity
- Somewhat 3 months of inactivity
- Fairly 4 months of inactivity
- Greatly 5 months of inactivity
- IDOC 6 months of inactivity
If the adventure fails to return to their house in order to renew it within 6 months, then the house will collapse and all of that adventures treasures become available for others to loot. This can result in a mad dash to the house as players try to claim as much loot as possible before it disappears.
IDOC events are often highly anticipated by players and can be a source of excitement and competition. However, they can also result in conflict between players as they compete for the valuable items contained in the houses.
¶ IDOC Detector Tool
Here at UOSE we have taken the guess work out of the community housing with an IDOC detector tool. This tool can be found in the Luna bank and it is in the shape of a miniature house. When double clicking on it, text will appear indicating a global status of all the houses currently in play. The miniature hose will also change colors to help provide a visual aid to those adventures that are running by.
